Welcome to Seeklore ("Service"), operated by Seeklore ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at seeklore.ai and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using Seeklore, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@seeklore.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

• Seeklore offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. Pricing, features, and generation limits are described on our pricing page.
• All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
• We offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.

4. Free Trial

New users may receive a free trial (currently 7 days, up to 10 generations) with no credit card required. Trial terms may change at our discretion. We reserve the right to limit trial access to prevent abuse.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, or violates any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or prompts
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service beyond normal API use
• Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing service
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized third parties to access your account
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Circumvent usage limits, billing mechanisms, or access controls

6. Generated Content & Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain ownership of all input data you provide (job details, company information, etc.).
• Generated Output: Subject to your active subscription and compliance with these Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute content generated by the Service for your business purposes.
• No Guarantee: Generated content is AI-assisted and may contain errors, bias, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use.
• Our IP: The Service, its design, underlying technology, prompts, models, and branding are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our IP to you.

7. AI & Content Disclaimer

Seeklore uses artificial intelligence to generate recruiting content. While we implement bias detection and quality controls:

• Generated content may not be suitable for all jurisdictions or regulatory environments
• You are solely responsible for ensuring generated content complies with local employment laws, anti-discrimination regulations, and industry standards
• Generated content does not constitute legal, HR, or professional advice
• We do not guarantee that generated content is free from bias, even when bias scores are provided

8. Data Processing

We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that input data may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) for content generation. We do not use your data to train AI models.

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete your data after 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEEKLORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seeklore, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Portland, Oregon, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class actions.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
